How to Remove Coffee or Tea Stains from a Stainless Steel Jug and Help Your Vacuum Jug Last Longer?

Tips and tricks to Clean your vacuum jug:

Whether you wash the double wall insulated jugs in the dishwasher machine or by hand, prolonged use of the vacuum jug can result in coffee or tea residue accumulating in the vacuum jug, and this is sometimes also accompanied by unpleasant odours. There are a few different products you can use to remove stains from your coffee pot. Whichever one you choose, simply pour the cleaner into the bottom of the pot.

Stainless Steel Thermal Jugs

Ideal cleaners to use include:

• 120ml of vinegar and 40g of coarse salt

• 120ml of vinegar and 55g of baking soda

• 120ml of hydrogen peroxide and 55g of baking soda

• 110g of baking soda

• Four denture cleaning tablets (these are designed to dissolve food particles and stains)

• 2 tablespoons (30ml) of liquid dishwasher detergent or powdered detergent

• One dishwasher detergent pod

DON’T use bleach, as it can corrode the metal.

These will help you clean your vacuum jug so you will be able to use it for a long time.

• Mix one to two teaspoons of table salt or a dishwasher tab with hot water, and give one good shake, afterwards your thermos jug will be looking as good as new in no time at all!

• Pour some hot water over a packet of baking powder, leave it to soak for half an hour. Then rinse well and enjoy the wonderful new sheen of your vacuum jug!

• Denture cleansers are normally used to dissolve the dirt that accumulates on dentures, but they will also give your jug a thorough clean.

The magic keypoint for these solutions is hot water and a good shake, afterwards everything will be nice and clean!
